Annual Impact Report

Turning Gratitude Into Lifesaving Action

A Message from Leadership

Every day, veterans and their families face the invisible wounds of war, whether during service or as they reintegrate into civilian life after service. Suicidal ideation, post-traumatic stress, and housing instability challenges of reintegration remain urgent, complex, and deeply human.

The Blue Angels Foundation exists to meet this moment with honor and dignity.

As we approach the 80th anniversary of the Blue Angels, we carry forward a promise “beyond the flight line” rooted in service, teamwork, and responsibility: veterans and their families will not face these challenges alone.

In 2025, the Foundation served as a national funding and partnership catalyst, accelerating access to care by investing in trusted programs across the country, removing barriers so help is available when veterans are ready to reach for it.

This report reflects what is possible when gratitude becomes action, and when generosity is matched with accountability, collaboration, and results.

From all of us at the Blue Angels Foundation… thank you.

As we look ahead to our shared impact in 2026 and beyond, we honor the oath you’ve taken in honoring our nation’s veterans. Together, we are committed to leveraging your generosity to fund life-saving care for every veteran who needs us.

Glad To Be Here,

Scott “Intake” Kartvedt

President, The Blue Angels Foundation

Beyond Every Number

Is a Changed Life

Statistics can never tell the whole story. Veterans like Ezequiel, and countless others, remind us that healing is possible… when care is accessible, timely, and grounded in dignity.

Your support made their journeys possible. And it’s making new journeys possible every day.

Coming home from combat wasn’t easy. I felt lost, angry, and alone.

The war was over, but the battle inside me wasn’t. Then I found the Wounded Warrior Project and Home Base. They gave me a safe place to face my pain and was surrounded by people who truly understood.

Through counseling and community, I learned I’m not broken. I’m rebuilding. These programs gave me strength, hope, and purpose. They even helped me save my marriage with Alma and reconnect with my family.

Today, I’m not just surviving, I’m living. And thanks to these organizations, I know we are not alone, we are not broken, we are rebuilding together.

How We Deliver Impact

Three Pillars of Care That Change Outcomes

Veterans don’t experience challenges in isolation—and neither should the care designed to support them. Mental health, housing stability, and post-traumatic stress are deeply interconnected, especially during the transition from military to civilian life.

The Blue Angels Foundation focuses its funding and partnerships on three essential areas that work together to restore stability, dignity, and long-term well-being. By investing across these pillars, we help ensure veterans are supported not just in moments of crisis, but throughout the full arc of reintegration—meeting them where they are and staying with them as they rebuild.

Mental Health Services & Suicide Prevention

Veteran suicide is preventable when treated early, and when honoring severity in crisis.

Our funding supports proactive, evidence-based mental health care focused on early intervention, connection, and long-term recovery, along with crisis response services.

1

Transitional Housing During Reintegration

Stable housing creates the foundation for everything else. We invest in transitional housing programs that restore stability, dignity, and momentum during the most vulnerable phase of civilian reentry.

2

PTS Resolution Programs

We fund clinically rigorous programs that go beyond coping—helping veterans process trauma, restore daily functioning, and re-engage with work, family, and community.

3

Impact, Funded by Philanthropy

Investment areas reflect what veterans need most to heal, recover, and move forward.

In 2025, Over $1.2 million distributed directly to veteran care programs nationwide

High program efficiency, with the majority of contributions funding mission delivery

Strong fiscal stewardship aligned with Charity Navigator best practices

Every dollar entrusted to the Foundation is treated as a responsibility to donors, to partners, and most importantly, to veterans and their families. The BAF continues to uphold Charity Navigator’s highest rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

Ways to Support Veterans, Today and for Generations

Every act of generosity has the power to change a life. At the Blue Angels Foundation, we offer multiple ways for individuals, families, corporations, and communities to turn appreciation for service into meaningful, measurable impact.

Whether through legacy commitments, corporate partnerships, signature events, leadership speaker engagements, or personal giving, each pathway supports the same mission: ensuring veterans and their families have access to care when they need it most.

Behind every gift is a story. A legacy. A reason someone chose to give.

Legacy Giving

Honoring Service. Sustaining Impact.

Legacy giving is a natural extension of stewardship—a way to honor service, remember those no longer with us, and ensure veterans receive care for generations to come. At every fundraising event, we set up the Missing Man table to honor heroes we’ve lost.

Many supporters choose to include the Blue Angels Foundation in their long-term plans as a reflection of values, gratitude, and responsibility. We invite you to learn more when the time feels right.

Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships

Shared Values. Measurable Impact.

Corporate partners play a vital role in scaling care. In 2025, mission-aligned partnerships, like Chick-fil-A’s $1 million commitment, helped expand reach, visibility, and outcomes for veterans nationwide. These partnerships are built on trust, alignment, and a shared belief that supporting veterans is both a responsibility and an opportunity to lead.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Accelerating Care When It’s Needed Most

The need facing our nation’s veterans is not slowing down—and neither can we.

In 2025, the Blue Angels Foundation generated over $4 million in mission-driven support, funding lifesaving care for veterans and their families across the country. By 2028, our goal is to reach $10 million annually, more than doubling our impact, expanding access to care nationwide.

Every day, veterans are ready to ask for help at their time of urgent need, often for the first time.

The question is whether care is available when that moment arrives. We are committed to answering that call, every time… with solutions and without hesitation.

How We Deliver Impact

What It Takes to More Than Double Impact

Scaling impact responsibly requires infrastructure, trusted partnerships, and disciplined execution. To reach $10 million in annual impact by 2028, the Foundation is focused on three strategic priorities, all made possible by the generosity of people like you:

National Acceleration of Proven Care

We are expanding partnerships with leading clinical programs, housing providers, and veteran service organizations to remove geographic, financial, and logistical barriers. Our role is not to duplicate services, but to accelerate access to what already works, wherever veterans live.

1

Strengthening the Engine Behind the Mission

Sustainable growth requires investment in systems, data, and professional capacity. Continued investment in donor stewardship, technology, and financial accountability ensures every dollar is tracked, protected, and deployed for maximum impact.

2

STATE-BASED EXPANSION WITH NATIONAL INTENT

With active appropriations, we are establishing durable infrastructure to support veterans where need is greatest. This includes expanding services across FL—anchored by a new operational presence—and expanding across the nation.

3

Expanding Philanthropic Partnerships at Scale

Securing deeper, longer-term philanthropic relationships through multi-year commitments, corporate partnerships, legacy giving, and public-sector collaboration. Partnerships allow us to plan ahead, respond faster, and serve more veterans without interruption.

4

Why the Blue Angels Foundation

We occupy a unique position in the veteran care ecosystem, combining:

National trustinspired by the Blue Angels legacy

Operational disciplinegrounded in accountability and results

Strategic partnershipswith best-in-class providers

A funding-first modelthat puts resources where veterans need them most

Donors partner with us to ensure care is available at the exact moment a veteran is ready.

An Invitation to Lead Together

The path to $10 million is not a single campaign. It is a shared commitment to meet veterans where they are, to act before a crisis, and to ensure families are supported for the long haul.

Whether through leadership gifts, corporate partnership, public-sector collaboration, or long-term planning, there is a place for values-aligned partners to help shape what comes next.

Together, we can build a future where veterans do not wait for care.

Because gratitude is not a moment. It is a commitment.
