The Blue Angels Foundation Houston Dinner

Background:

The Blue Angels Foundation Dinner brings together patriotic business leaders from
Houston and the greater metropolitan area. The evening begins with a reception
followed by the program and seated dinner.

The “run of program” begins with a welcome by the Master of Ceremonies and the
event chair, followed by the National Anthem and invocation before settling into a
delicious dinner. The Blue Angels Foundation President then addresses the attendees
and introduces the keynote speaker. A powerful and emotional video is shown that
shares the personal story of one or more wounded warriors who have benefitted from
the continuum of care that the BAF funds. When the wounded warrior is present, the
guests are able to meet her/him in person and take part in a question-and-answer
session.

Fundraising activities may include auctions of experiences and items, a tiered donation
ask, and BAF merchandise raffles. The evening ends with closing remarks by the
Houston event coordinator.

military and the wounded warrior community. This was a great event and a very patriotic
